Health
In 2010 we commence delivery of the Diploma of Nursing, which replaces the Certificate IV in Nursing. This qualification will lead to registration as a Division 2 nurse in Victoria.

This can be a pathway to higher level nurse training and is a great career option in its own right.

There will also be a course in Intravenous therapy and other Diploma level units for registered Division 2 nurses.

Community Services
Community services is a huge area of job growth with great employment opportunities in our region.

Many courses are available to train people to work and care for those in need in our community.

We offer courses in a diverse range of sectors that include;
Aged Care
Home and Community Care (HACC)
Disability work
Children’s Services

Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma qualification levels are available in most courses depending on previous experience and studies.

We also offer courses in a number of specialised areas including mental health work, alcohol & other drugs, Youth work and many more.

Some of our courses are available entirely by flexible delivery. Study options for flexible delivery include a mix of training methods: by phone link up, online, written resource books, project based learning and face to face classes.

Some Diploma courses in Community Services can be taken in conjunction with an Associate Degree from Deakin University (delivered in Bairnsdale) via the Deakin at Your Doorstep program. Successful completion of this option leads to entry to Bachelor programs with Deakin University combined with a Diploma and Associate Degree!
