East Gippsland TAFE supports local community group

East Gippsland TAFE is supporting the local community by allowing Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Co. Inc. to use the student cafeteria at the Bairnsdale campus of TAFE for a production called Nostalgia beginning on Friday 6 November.

Ms Angela Hutson, CEO of East Gippsland TAFE said: “Cultural development, just like education, is an important part of our community. East Gippsland TAFE is pleased to be able to support the local performing arts in this way.”

Sue Lake-Harris, Nostalgia’s director, from Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Co. Inc said: “It is often difficult to find a suitable venue for our more intimate productions. We are extremely grateful to East Gippsland TAFE for allowing us to use this space."

Angela and Sue met recently at East Gippsland TAFE with Melanie Porter, one of the cast.
