What is RPL?

During your life you have developed a range of skills both formally (through accredited training) and informally. 

You could get recognised for these skills you have by applying for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)

RPL can benefit you in a number of ways; there is no point in duplicating the learning that you have already acquired so by applying for RPL it could reduce your study load. 

It could assist you in gaining a qualification quicker in a shorter period of time.

You will need to be able to demonstrate what you know and can do.  The evidence could be in the form of:

• An interview
• Supervisor’s reports/letter from employer
• Practical demonstration
• Photos, documents
• Qualifications, etc.
