Application
for Entry (ENR001) |
Most Institute courses have selection criteria that students are required to meet to be selected for entry to a course.
Prospective students are to complete an Application for Entry form to register their interest to undertake
the selection process for the course. The criteria are developed by the Team to ensure that students selected
have the potential to achieve the required learning outcomes.
NOTE: Application for Entry is not required for short courses. Eg Vocational
Bar, Safe Food Handling.

Enrolment
form (T&L 002) |
Clients who have been made an offer of a place into
a Certificate, Advanced Certificate or Diploma course and who are unable to enrol in person at any of the
Institute campuses may use this form and submit it via Australia Post.
Clients who are wishing to enrol in an advertised short course (eg. Vocational Bar Course, Farm Chemical Users,
Safe Food Handlers) and who are unable to enrol in person at any of the Institute campuses
may use this form and submit it via Australia Post.
Special Note for all enrolments: Arrangements for the payment of all fees must be
made before an enrolment is accepted. Contact Student Services on 1300 133717
to obtain a quote on the fees payable and your eligibility for any concession rates before submitting your enrolment
form. This will avoid delays in processing.

is based on the recognition of skills and knowledge gained from life experience and work experience as well as qualifications. |

Student Loan Application (fee payment arrangements) (TL002 form 2) |
Arrangements for the payment of all fees must be made
before an enrolment is accepted. One of the accepted arrangements is Direct Debit from a nominated bank account
by either fortnightly or monthly payments. |

Application for change to Direct Debit payments (T&L 002 form 3) |
If you need to change your Direct Debit arrangements, or
cancel or defer a debit payment, you need to phone or drop in to Student Services seven (7) business/working
days in advance of your next debit day. The authorisation to change your arrangements has to be recorded in writing
on this form. |

Employer Invoice Authorisation (FIN042) |
If
an employer has agreed to pay a student's fees (apprentice/trainee) written authorisation is required from the
employer at point of enrolment. |

to Defer (T&L 016) |
Deferral is the process of postponing commencement of
a course for which you have been offered a place. At the end of the deferral period you have the option to
take up your place in the course without going through the application process again. Our Institute allows
students to defer a full course for up to 12 months. |

Student ID Card Request (T&L 002 form 5) |
Students who live in remote areas and who do not have
access to either Bairnsdale, Sale or Forestech Campuses to have a Student Identification Card processed, may
request a card through any of the other campuses or mail. |

Student Swipe Card Access (PROP005) |
Students who require out of hours access to the Flexible
Learning Centre, Telematics classroom or other classrooms located in Building 2 at the Bairnsdale Campus need
to apply for swipe card access. |

Change of Personal Details (T&L 002 form 6) |
If you change your address or phone number during the
year you need to notify us to update your records. This will ensure that you receive important information promptly. |

Assessment Items Cover Sheet (T&L009) |
Students are encouraged to attach this sheet to the
cover of all items submitted for assessment. This way there is a record of you submitting, and the Institute
receiving, your assessment item. |

Registration of a
Complaint or Opportunity for Improvement OFI (CM 006 form 1) |
Any student or customer of East Gippsland Institute
of TAFE can initiate this procedure where they identify a program/service that does not meet expectations, or
they wish to register a compliment or a complaint. |
