You may have years of experience or past study but lack the formal qualifications. We can reward your knowledge and experience by assessing and mapping your skills against an accredited TAFE qualification.
You save money and can take a shorter time to complete your qualification. Skills Recognition can be based on expertise you have already gained in:
- the workplace
- voluntary work
- social or domestic activities
- informal or formal training.
The Skills Recognition application takes you on a short journey to gather information from you relevant to the skills and experience you have accumulated in your work/life journey.
The application then seeks to find out if you can back this up with evidence so that we can see how your current skills and experience might count towards a qualification. It might be in an area you are already experienced in or a new area you’d like to move into.
